Insect & Disease Update – June 21, 2017

High levels of alfalfa weevil have been reported in the Interlake, Southwest, and Northwest. There are some lingering cutworm issues in the northwest, although populations of cutworm in many locations are turning to pupae. Stripe rust has been detected in more locations around Manitoba.  Levels have been low overall and are not a major concern at this time. For the full report:  http://www.gov.mb.ca/agriculture/crops/seasonal-reports/insect-report-archive/insect-report-2017-06-21.html
